The other night as I sat on my computer surfing the net I ran into a dating site that caught my eye. This was not your average dating site, this site was definitely adult and it was pretty racy even by my standards. Still it was veryinterestinggoing over the profiles and pages and seeing how so many people were so free to share such intimate details about each other including intimate pictures. I spent about 3 hours that night on the dating site very enthralled by all of the stories that I was reading and wishing that I too had the same kind of life. As a child i never really had that many girlfriends as i was always a very shy and quiet kid in and out of school which made it very different to start talking to girls. My parents tried everything that they could think of to try and bring me out of my shell a little bit but i just found it all a little too hard as i wasn't used to it. I lost my first love Tom in a tragic car accident two years ago, we were engaged to be married after dating for over 4 years and one day suddenly he was gone from my life forever. This experience traumatized me and it has taken me this long to even consider dating again. My family and friends who have supported me so strongly through this time are really stressing that I need to move forward with my life and so I am looking into some dating sites today. I never would have dreamt in my wildest dreams that my divorced mom would find love on the internet at the age of 56!
